Mentoring and Supporting Teen Moms
At Spokane YoungLives we mentor and support teen moms to empower and inspire them to change their trajectory and impact not one but two generations. We believe that they deserve to experience a beautiful/whole life and that they deserve to hear about the God of the universe who is crazy about them. Mentors build relationships, and then do life together with them. We have volunteers who give their time as mentors, meal teams, childcare, transportation and club support. It take a village to raise a child and that's how we approach the mission of YoungLives.
Where to find Spokane YoungLives
We meet monthly in North Spokane, Central Spokane, and the Spokane Valley. We also hold a life skills class once a month. In the fall of 2015 we will be offering parenting classes, court document help, community activities, homework help, and GED/diploma completion at our Cook Strret House Drop in center. See the club page or Upcoming Events calendar for more information.
